Convicted Terrorist Gets 9 Months

Posted by Casey on March 31, 2007

Australian David Hicks was facing 20 years, but struck a plea deal that capped his sentence at 7 years. However, there was a secret plea deal that finally resulted in Hicks getting 9 months … yes 9 months for being a terrorist against the United States.

To top it all off … he will serve his sentence in Australia, not in the US.

Intense lobbying by Australia, including by Prime Minister John Howard, appears to have been a key factor in the U.S. decision to make Hicks the first detainee to go before war-crimes tribunals authorized in October by U.S. President George W. Bush, and the agreement to return Hicks to Australia.

We used to kill enemies of this country, and Australia has seriously disappointed me.

My Letter To Elisabeth Hasselbeck

Posted by Casey on March 30, 2007

I couldn’t take it anymore. Hasselbeck has got to step up her show prep to combat Rosie. Rosie gives no facts … just opinions easily destroyed if you can withstand her loud mouth. The Tonkin Gulf comment and the Iran hostage comments sent me over the edge. I went to the View’s website in a desperate attempt to assist Elisabeth in her ongoing battles with the abominable pumpkin-head. No doubt she receives several of these a day, but I’m hoping that my corporate email address from the station will allow me to stand out. Here is what I had to say:

Hey Elisabeth,

I’m a talk show host in Las Vegas, NV, former infantryman who conducted counter-terrorist operations against bin Laden before 9/11. Rosie has been outright lying lately on the Tonkin Gulf incidents (plural), 9/11, Iran, the Patriot Act, and the war.

I want to give you some basic info on some things she’s been attacking you with lately. In reference to the WTC. Research Leslie E. Robertson and LERA … they built the WTC and support the official story. Conspiracy theorists never have a response to what they’ve said. Simply ask Rosie next time she brings it up what she thinks of what Robertson and LERA have had to say. She won’t know who you’re talking about.

In regards to WTC 7 … read the following from the Deputy Fire Chief who was there.

Deputy Chief Peter Hayden on the collapse of WTC 7:

Hayden: Yeah. There was enough there and we were marking off. There were a lot of damaged apparatus there that were covered. We tried to get searches in those areas. By now, this is going on into the afternoon, and we were concerned about additional collapse, not only of the Marriott, because there was a good portion of the Marriott still standing, but also we were pretty sure that 7 World Trade Center would collapse. Early on, we saw a bulge in the southwest corner between floors 10 and 13, and we had put a transit on that and we were pretty sure she was going to collapse. You actually could see there was a visible bulge, it ran up about three floors. It came down about 5 o’clock in the afternoon, but by about 2 o’clock in the afternoon we realized this thing was going to collapse.

So we gathered up rollups and most of us had masks at that time. We headed toward 7. And just around we were about a hundred yards away and Butch Brandies came running up. He said forget it, nobody’s going into 7, there’s creaking, there are noises coming out of there, so we just stopped. And probably about 10 minutes after that, Visconti, he was on West Street, and I guess he had another report of further damage either in some basements and things like that, so Visconti said nobody goes into 7, so that was the final thing and that was abandoned. Firehouse: When you looked at the south side, how close were you to the base of that side? Boyle: I was standing right next to the building, probably right next to it. Firehouse: When you had fire on the 20 floors, was it in one window or many? Boyle: There was a huge gaping hole and it was scattered throughout there. It was a huge hole. I would say it was probably about a third of it, right in the middle of it. And so after Visconti came down and said nobody goes in 7, we said all right, we’ll head back to the command post. We lost touch with him. I never saw him again that day. More eyewitness accounts at http://www.firehouse.com/terrorist/911/magazine/gz/

Firehouse magazine is the industry magazine for firefighters, and they support the official story as well.

FYI, the Loose Change guys have admitted that their movie has falsehoods in order to get people to “check it out.”

In reference to Iran and the British hostages. It is illegal for Iran to have taken them in the first place … even if they were in Iranian waters. Typically they would be escorted out of Iranian waters … this is an internationally accepted practice. Problem is that the British were 1.7 miles in Iraqi waters, and have release the GPS data to prove it. Read that here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/6501555.stm
Is coercing prisoners to write letters, and give TV interviews torture in Rosie’s opinion? It is akin to her claims of torture at Gitmo. How about promising to release one hostage, and then rescinding that promise?

The Tonkin Gulf incidents happened over a 3 day period and involved 2 separate altercations. The incident with the USS Turner Joy was an overzealous sonar man, and was not enemy contact. That is the one Rosie was referring to the other day. However, 2 days before that the USS Maddox was attacked by 3 N. Vietnamese gunboats, and evaded a torpedo fired at them. This attack is confirmed with video footage, and damage to the Maddox from the mounted guns on the gunboats.

You should bring up the Appeal for Redress and the Appeal for Courage to let military personnel have their opinion heard. The Appeal for Redress has received lots of media coverage and is anti-war. The Appeal for Courage is pro-war, has received no media coverage but has far more signatures.

Hope this helps with your battles with Rosie, and please let me know if you need any help with topic research.

XXX Domain Names Defeated

Posted by Casey on March 30, 2007

This is bad … real bad. The ICANN said it didn’t want to get into content regulation which is an easily solved problem. Government is ok trying to regulate who can use the internet, and when, but they won’t take steps to regulate content? It is important to note that this is an international thing … not a US government thing.

"How To" Website For Pedophiles Is Legal

Posted by Casey on March 30, 2007

Stegl.org (Seattle-Tacoma-Everett Girl Love) is the website, but it is down at the moment. Probably trying to hide, or it has been overrun because of the coverage it has been getting from Fox News today.

“As disturbing and offensive as we find this, there’s no evidence of a crime, or even suspicion of illegal activity,” said Rebecca Hover of the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department.

The man who runs it, 45-year-old Jack McClellan, has never been convicted of a sex crime, which means he can attend any family-friendly events where children are present, and take all the pictures he wants for his Web site. He also lives close to a school bus stop.

McClellan says his purpose is to promote association, friendship and legal, consensual hugging and cuddling between men and pre-pubescent girls. He admitted to FOX News that his “age of attraction” is between 3 and 11 years old.

“I guess the main thing is I just think they’re cute, a lot cuter than women. I admit there is kind of an erotic arousal there,” McClellan said.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Some people do not deserve to live.

Video Of Second "Apology" From British Hostage

Posted by Casey on March 30, 2007

You’ll notice Royal Marine, Nathan Thomas Summers, looks off to his right frequently for instructions. Also notice that the video footage of the hostages doesn’t show anything below the upper chest. This is important because of hand signals that service members are instructed to use in precisely this situation to show that they are being forced to make these claims.

John Travolta On Global Warming: We Need To Go To Other Planets

Posted by Casey on March 30, 2007

We’re doomed!

Travolta wants humans to leave Earth and go to other planets eh? There is one HUGE problem with that. The other planets in our solar system are warming up as well. We can’t escape global warming if the sun causes it.

Like I said … we’re doomed!

Oh yeah, Travolta owns 5 private jets (including a Boeing 707), has a carbon footprint 100x that of the average Briton, he’s the “serving ambassador” for the Australian airline Qantas, his son’s name is Jett, and he drove a Harley on the red carpet.

More Coercion Of British Hostages … Still No Cry Of Torture From Liberals

Posted by Casey on March 30, 2007

Clearly these British hostages (not prisoners) are being coerced into saying, and writing, anti-war messages by their captors.

Via This Is London:

Captured sailor Faye Turney says she has been “sacrificed” to the policies of the British and U.S. governments in a third letter released by her Iranian captors today.

The letter, addressed to the British people, also said that Turney had been treated well, unlike the prisoners held by the US at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.

It is important to note that Turney was to be released by her Iranian captors, but they withdrew that offer and she remains a hostage. I don’t call that being treated well.

Abu Ghraib is under Iraqi control now, and has been for over a year. The prisoners there have been requesting that the Americans retake control of the prison from the Iraqis because the US treated them better.

Nathan Summers, a Marine hostage, was also forced to “apologize” for entering Iranian waters.

Iran has demanded that Britain admit they went into Iranian waters, but Britain doesn’t seem likely to accommodate that demand. Nor should they be bullied into admitting any wrongdoing when they, in fact, didn’t.

An admission would have grave consequences for Britain, but would be even worse for Iraq. Iran and Iraq have had a long standing dispute over the waters the British were captured in. Though internationally recognized as Iraqi waters … an admission would allow Iran to seize the territory from Iraq. Iran doesn’t believe the US or Britain will go to war over this stretch of water, and the Iraqi navy is no match for Iran’s at this point.

You can expect NO help from the UN on this matter. They are pretty much siding with Iran.

Da Bears Support Da Troops

Posted by Casey on March 29, 2007

Most of you know this, but for the newbies … I am a die hard Bears fan. Other NFL players are visiting our troops as well, but I had to reprint what the young Bears safety Chris Harris had to say.

After making a similar trip a year ago, Chris Harris will return to Iraq next month to visit U.S. troops. The Bears safety will be joined by teammate Israel Idonije and Tennessee Titans cornerback Nick Harper. “It’s the least I can do,” Harris said. “If I’m not over there fighting, I can go say hi for a week or so.”

NFL.com and Chicagobears.com have more on players visiting our troops.

Illegals Are Planning A Mass Walkout Tomarrow

Posted by Casey on March 29, 2007

This picture is from the Myspace page of the organizers

A few days ago I received an email from Americans 4 America identifying several local high schools here in Vegas that were planning to have student walkouts on March 30. Here is the Myspace page of the illegal supporters, and it is a national campaign. They call it the Brown Armband Campaign, and are celebrating César Chávez Day of Action.
