The arrogance of these greenies is almost unbearable. Yesterday I told you that the IPCC was forced to admit they’d lied about some of their claims, and lifted them from magazine articles that weren’t based on any science or research … but hypothesis.
Today it’s more of the same. Along with a defiant refusal to step down by the IPCC’s fearless fraud leader, Dr Rajendra Pachauri. Who as it turns out, has NO climate science credentials at all. He’s the literal equivalent of Joe the Plummer dictating climate policy.
The IPCC’s 2007 report, which won it the Nobel Peace Prize, said that the probability of Himalayan glaciers “disappearing by the year 2035 and perhaps sooner is very high”.
But it emerged last week that the forecast was based not on a consensus among climate change experts, but on a media interview with a single Indian glaciologist in 1999.
The IPCC admitted on Thursday that the prediction was “poorly substantiated” in the latest of a series of blows to the panel’s credibility.
Gee, another Nobel Prize awarded based on fraud … shocking.
Syed Hasnain, the Indian glaciologist erroneously quoted as making the 2035 prediction, said that responsibility had to lie with them. “It is the lead authors — blame goes to them,” he told The Times. “There are many mistakes in it. It is a very poorly made report.”
He and other leading glaciologists pointed out at least five glaring errors
It says the total area of Himalyan glaciers “will likely shrink from the present 500,000 to 100,000 square kilometers by the year 2035”. There are only 33,000 square kilometers of glaciers in the Himalayas.
There’s more errors highlighted in the article, including the IPCC using the World Wildlife Fund (the people who scare your children with dead animals) as a source of information. The IPCC is not supposed to use advocacy groups for data. That last part should be a no brainer, but I guess the lines get blurred when you’ve ceased to be a scientific entity and instead become an advocacy group yourself.
The greenies continue to have their asses handed to them by logic, facts, science, and their own corruption. The International Panel on Climate Change was forced to admit one of their claims about the Himalayan glaciers was actually lifted from a magazine article in 1999. Furthermore, there is no research on the claim at all.

It was also revealed that the IPCC’s controversial chairman, Dr Rajendra Pachauri, described as “the world’s top climate scientist”, is a former railway engineer with a PhD in economics and no formal climate science qualifications.
Oh Sh*t! You mean the greenies elevated a man-made global warming scientist who has NO TRAINING in this field? I’m just SHOCKED (sarcasm)!
Man, the only that could make this better is if we discover, yet another, financial conflict of interest.
Dr Pachauri was yesterday accused of a conflict of interest after it emerged he has a network of business interests that attract millions of pounds in funding thanks to IPCC policies. One of them, The Energy Research Institute, has a London office and is set to receive up to £10million from British taxpayers over the next five years in the form of grants from the Department for International Development.
We’ve just added another link proving man-made global warming is a farce. This new link is even more amazing in that some continue to say that global warming exists even though all data shows global temperatures declining the last three years.
Some even say that man-made global warming will come back. Thereby admitting it has left.
The link list is a project that we started after several requests for proof that man was, in fact, not causing global warming. It also provides proof that Earth is in a cooling trend now anyway.

I’ve had a ton of requests for more global warming information. I don’t focus on it as much as I did at the previous site, but I’ve started a link list to help you find global warming info quickly. I’m avoiding blog posts in the links wherever possible to maintain its integrity, but many blogs have helped in my research … especially GatewayPundit.
While I know man-made global warming to be a myth, Earth was warming for nearly a century due to natural cycles. That warming trend has ended for now, and we are currently cooling. Cooling, by the way is far more dire.
This information is not intended to be an attack on clean technology, or anti-pollution measures. We’ll take those issues on an individual basis, because some are good suggestions while others are asinine.

– Rather than post all links associated with Climategate, do a simple search for Climategate via your preferred search engine. Some of the links associated with Hadley falsifying global warming data will be contained within this list. However, the scandal is so massive it deserves it’s own list.
This list is ever growing, and changing. There is too much to put into one page, but we’ll try to get the most concise links to provide evidence to argue against man-made global warming.
