For the first time since 1972, a Republican will be senator in that state.

Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack has made a lot of news lately. He’s alleged that he was ‘roughed up’ by a henchman from Democrat Martha Coakley’s camp. Coakley is currently the Attorney General in Massachusetts, and is running for the vacant US Senate seat.
That supposed henchman is Michael Meehan, a campaign volunteer. He has flatly denied pushing McCormack.
That is very interesting given that he’s issued an apology, and is claiming that he’s attempted to reach McCormack several times to ‘apologize for his part’ in the fall.
Why would you say you had any part in someone falling if you have already denied pushing the man?
Where the story gets really interesting is the AP’s story clearly states that McCormack tripped, and was not pushed.
So who’s telling the truth?
I don’t really know, and there may some truth to both statements. However, so far McCormack’s story seems more solid given that Meehan is admittedly making great effort to apologize for something he says he didn’t do.

Further proof that the Republicans who were ok with nominating someone with this guy’s views, and then were ok with that candidate dropping out to endorse this guy, need to be removed.
Bill Owens won the recent election in NY by lying to his constituents, and saying he would not support Pelosicare. It took just one hour to break four of his promises.
The Democrats have sunk to a new low. It took months for the country to finally realize that Democrats weren’t going to fulfill any of their platform promises when they took over Congress beyond minimum wage. However, Owens has raised the bar by admitting he lied just an hour after being sworn in.
Owens indicated in a press release that he was now in favor of the bill in direct contrast to his earlier position during his campaign.
During his campaign for Congress, Mr. Owens assured voters that he felt the public option had no place in the health care reform bill. Contrary to that position, Mr. Owens now indicates that he intends to vote in favor of the bill even though it now contains a public option.

There is a lot of misinformation out there about card check. The one question I would ask union supporters is why would the union not support showing your ID for political elections, but want you to show your ID during union elections? There is clear hypocrisy there.
NPRI has a great post on their new blog about it with a few videos explaining exactly what card check means, and what will happen if passed.
NPRI’s post has a couple more videos that are shorter, and more humor based. Including a video from a former union organizer explaining exactly why unions want this passed. Check it out here.

A state senator from Maryland donned an Obama watch, and said that it didn’t matter her state was broke … as long as Obama was president.
I wonder what it’s like to not give a crap about not being able to pay your bills, because some guy somewhere may give you money. Even though he never promised to do so. Come to think of it … that’s an awful lot like the Christian religious zealots (not everyday Christians) saying that God will provide for them. Oh wait … same thing.

Everyone under the sun is posting this video, and it is good for a laugh. Normally, I’d say it’s only a handful of people interviewed. However, their answers are the same that I got when I’d ask Obama supporters (number 2′s) why they were supporting Obama.
Zogby is being attacked for the poll results that coincide with this video, but Zogby is a self-professed “flaming liberal” who used to be a Democrat politician. Zogby is most famous for spinning polls to fit his ideology … not for helping conservatives. Maybe he is a Hillary supporter who is still pissed.
Now you know Zogby is no right-winger (quite the contrary), let’s see what his poll says.
Some would say at this point that most voters are relatively uninformed. I would tend to agree with that. After all, most voted for Obama. However, it isn’t that they didn’t know the answers to these questions … it’s where they got their information from, and that they did know the answers to other questions.
To know nothing about Ayers, but to know how much was spent on Palin’s wardrobe is ridiculous at best.

It’s not news to discover Reid is a hypocrite with no memory, but it is somewhat humorous.
Yeah … I’ll bet. Cooperation from Reid is the same as Stalin’s definition of freedom. Reid doesn’t seek cooperation at all with Republicans … he seeks servitude. Cooperation is something Reid can’t define, so allow me to help.
I guarantee you Reid isn’t interested in working with Republicans for a mutual benefit. He wants a Democrat benefit, and he seeks to halt any Republican benefits.
It is ironic Reid is calling for cooperation now, because he blatantly refused cooperation with Republicans on any issue since he has become Majority Leader of the Senate. Remember when he created the “war room” after talking about cooperation with Republicans in 2004?
But wait … Reid doesn’t want you to remember that.
Told you Reid wasn’t interested in cooperation. He just made it clear that everyone must be working in the same way. His way no doubt.

We all know the results of the recent election. WordPress was interested in how their users were voting, and did their own poll on who WordPress bloggers were voting for. While the results were predictable, they were also humorous.
Here’s the graphic WordPress has put up:
As you can see, WordPress bloggers chose an Obama/Biden ticket with 69% of the vote. That’s 17% more than the US population.
The results are interesting because of the fairness doctrine, which some in government would also apply to blogs. While Obama’s most recent statement on the fairness doctrine is that he doesn’t support it, he has gone back and forth on the issue, and does support various other fairness type initiatives. But forget what he says … actions speak louder than words.
We all know that Obama is blatantly opposed to free speech, and has put great effort into censoring news and broadcast elements during the campaign. Even censoring a debate between a critic, and supporter, of his. Obama is also a huge supporter of net neutrality laws which are a form of internet fairness doctrine. However, the most concerning event with Obama and the fairness doctrine is his appointing former Federal Communications Commissioner Henry Rivera to head the team that will select the next FCC chairman. Why is Rivera’s appointment so concerning? He is an extreme supporter of the fairness doctrine.
While we may not be 100% positive Obama supports the legal restoration of the Fairness Doctrine … we do know that Democrats in Congress do, especially Pelosi. The question then shifts from whether Obama supports it, to will Obama veto it. I’m not so sure he would use his veto power to kill the fairness doctrine if it passes Congress.
So what about Biden … does he support the fairness doctrine? Biden does have a history of censoring news outlets himself. CNET is also pretty concerned about the lies Biden has told us during the campaign about technology fairness, and privacy issues. Given Biden’s vast history of not supporting internet privacy, and his support of various fairness initiatives as well … can we really deduce that he doesn’t support the fairness doctrine?
69% of WordPress bloggers expressed their support for a ticket that has all the makings of an executive branch that will put in place provisions that may censor them. Intriguing … isn’t it?

I just gave you the headline the news is too afraid to give you, but it is the truth.
Black students attack a white student while calling white student racist for wearing a Palin pin. Hypocrisy is what you get when you lack the ability to look into a mirror.
