Anyone interested in a car that gets 110
mpg, 400 hp, and 500 tq? Of course you are, but where can you get such an
automobile? What if I told you that you just need to get the engine, and put it in your car? Awesome huh?
A man has invented an E85 engine that gets all those stats. E85 is known for being very inefficient, but it delivers more horsepower to engines that can run on it while reducing mpg. All we needed was someone to make E85 efficient. Well, now we have.
If the government would just stay out of it, and let the average citizen use their creativity … this is what we get … progress.
The man who drove his 20-year-old Mustang from Napoleon, Ohio, to Las Vegas and back last year on 39 gallons of fuel will open his first manufacturing facility Monday to allow others to get 110 miles per gallon.
Doug Pelmear, owner of Horse Power Sales.net Inc. and Hp2G LLC, will hold an open house Monday morning in the idle 100,000-square-foot factory he has leased in Wauseon to begin manufacturing his revolutionary engine.
The factory, on the Fulton Industries Inc. campus in Wauseon, will be tooled to initially turn out 20 of Mr. Pelmear’s custom engines per day with one shift of 25 workers. |

Our president continues to alienate far more of our allies than Bush ever did. Just this week he has insulted Israel, Germany and now France. Let’s not forget the fiasco with the British Prime Minister … known as DVD Gate.
| The Obamas turn up in Paris this evening, but have declined a dinner invitation from the couple next door: the Sarkozys.
President Obama’s reluctance to spend more than minimum time with the French leader on his visit for the D-Day anniversary has come as an embarrassment to the Elysée Palace.
America’s First Family will not be dining with President Sarkozy and his wife, Carla Bruni, even though they are staying at the residence of the US Ambassador, yards from the Elysée apartments where the Sarkozys spend their weekends.
Mr Sarkozy’s staff were trying yesterday to arrange another private moment between the couples. Mr Obama is due to fly back to Washington tomorrow night or on Sunday. |

Doctors are actually issuing a warning over the dance called “Daggering.”
AN erotic dance craze is thought to be the cause of a recent spate of broken penises in Jamaica, and now faces a government crackdown.
“Daggering”, a lewd dance style where couples simulate dry sex in various positions to the beat of the music, is characterised by over-the-top gyrating, heavy pelvis-thrusting and daredevil leaps.
Many couples have taken the “rough” daggering dance from the club to the bedroom, with disastrous consequences.
Jamaican doctors were prompted to issue a warning on the dangers of daggering when presented with a range of fractured penises caused by rough intercourse. |

Does anyone else notice a significant lack of media coverage on this? Every time a soldier got a scratch on their arm under Bush the MSM was all over it. It would have been a feeding frenzy right now if Bush were still in office with calls for exit strategies, claims of not caring about our troops, etc.
| Insurgent use of roadside bombs in Afghanistan has surged 80 percent this year as they remain the No. l killer of foreign troops, a NATO official said Thursday.
The increase since the corresponding period last year includes bombs that detonated or were found by troops before they could explode, said Canadian Brig. Gen. Richard Blanchette, a spokesman for NATO’s International Security Assistance Force.
“This is very serious business for us,” Blanchette told AP Broadcast in an interview from Kabul, Afghanistan.
Roadside bombs have been the primary killer in both the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. Last year, improvised devices and other roadside explosives killed 172 U.S. and coalition troops in Afghanistan. At least 31 American soldiers have been killed by roadside bombs this year, according to the Defense Department. |
