Oh No He Didn’t! Obama Just Lied And Said 100% Of McCain Ads Are Negative.

Posted by Host on October 15, 2008

Obama is, at this point, visibly losing the debate.  A few minutes ago he said that 100% of McCain’s ads are negative.  Understandably so, there were noticeable gasps in the audience, and McCain chuckled. Obama blatantly lied, and is back to pulling stats out of his rear end … just like he did when he incorrectly cited Toyota’s fleet mpg. Toyota would issue a statement that Obama was completely incorrect.

For proof that McCain’s ads are not 100% negative … go to his website where he has every TV and web ad he’s done in this campaign.

School Textbook Has 15 Pages Of Pro-Obama Material

Posted by Host on October 15, 2008

We’re still getting more info on this, but it is unusual at best, and blatantly partisan brainwashing at worst.

The mom who has exposed this being scorned as a psycho or something, but having this much coverage of a person who really hasn’t accomplished much in the grand scheme of things is questionable. If Obama doesn’t win he’ll likely vanish into obscurity like all the other failed candidates. At least until he runs again so this much attention in a textbook is too presumptive.

Fox says the textbook section is a full 20 pages, but I don’t know how many actually discuss Obama.

So not only do we have a new textbook including an historical figure that we may all soon forget about, but we have a teacher who required students to write anti-Palin essays with no punishment, and teachers unions out there openly supporting Obama in the classroom.

Obama Admits He’s “Boneheaded”

Posted by Host on October 15, 2008

At least he admitted that his boneheaded comments about religious people who support the 2nd Amendment was … well … boneheaded.

CNN:

Speaking to the New York Times in an interview set to be published Sunday, Obama said his now-infamous comments at a San Francisco fundraiser last April — during which he said some small town Americans “cling” to guns and religion — was “my biggest boneheaded move.”

“How it was interpreted in the press was Obama talking to a bunch of wine-sipping San Francisco liberals with an anthropological view toward white working-class voters,” Obama told the Times.

So now that Obama has admitted his mistake, has he changed his tune? Nope, he just lied about.

“And I was actually making the reverse point, clumsily, which is that these voters have a right to be frustrated because they’ve been ignored. And because Democrats haven’t met them halfway on cultural issues, we’ve not been able to communicate to them effectively an economic agenda that would help broaden our coalition.”

Uh, huh?

Let’s examine his full statement, and see if we can deduce that he was actually saying that they were “frustrated” because Democrats have ignored them.

Obama’s full statement that day:

“Our challenge is to get people persuaded that we can make progress when there’s not evidence of that in their daily lives,” he said. “You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are going to regenerate and they have not.

“And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

Yep, still sound just as bad as it did then when he said. Even with his latest explanation of what he was “trying” to convey.

Obama is only supporting what Biden said a while back. That Democrats have no faith in the American people.

People don’t need religion, or guns to explain how frustrated they are by a government who failed them. They aren’t going to have antipathy towards people who aren’t like them because they’ve been ignored. Perhaps some of their anti-immigrant views stem from losing jobs overseas because of unions, but there isn’t a major anti-immigrant feeling in this country. There is a major anti-illegal immigrant sentiment in this country, and there is a huge difference.

Essentially he’s saying that they are God-fearing, gun toting bigits, but it is the government’s fault.

Let’s examine Obama’s antipathy comments, and use them against him. One could argue that many of his supporters have antipathy for those not like them. Such as those who are successful, or dare I say white.

Hey, if I’m going to be called a racist for not voting for a black guy … then they are going to be called racist for not voting for a white guy.

The poor typically have an anti-immigrant attitude as well. Why? Because it is the illegals who take the jobs that Americans won’t do, remember? Remedial labor jobs that could be providing support for those poor folks in the US who need to provide for their family.

Many of Obama’s supporters cling to their guns as well. Some, probably, as a way of providing for their family. You don’t really think that the whole “thug thizzle” crowd is law abiding do you?

Clearly only a minority of Obama supporters that I’ve seen strike me as criminals, but it can still be argued. If you embrace the thug life, what am I supposed to think?

So, you see Obama, both you and McCain have supporters that cling to religion, guns, and antipathy while harboring anti-immigrant feelings.

Before I start getting allegations of racism here by you small-minded nitwits. I used far-fetched arguments to argue the counter to Obama’s far-fetched arguments. Don’t take it so seriously.
