We all know that the first GOP debate was a debacle, and most likely organized to be a debacle by MSNBC. There were foolish questions, inappropriate questions and flat out disorganization. It was like watching a junior high school debate with a bunch of kids who’ve never debated before. Fox clearly showed everyone that they are the better news organization with this second debate. They also showed why they have a hell of a lot more viewers than MSNBC.
I ran across this link on Hotair from National Review. It is a video comparison of the questions asked at both GOP debates so you can see who the real news organization is, and who the bias advocacy group is. Enjoy.

It’s a couple of days old, but it’s still a worthy blog post.
361 illegals feel that it is their right to get the overtime pay they were denied because they were taken into custody during an immigration raid, and so they are suing.
Reuters:
Workers including 361 illegal immigrants were cheated of hundreds of thousands of dollars in overtime pay at a factory at the center of a high-profile raid in Massachusetts, according to a lawsuit filed on Tuesday.
Lawyers are watching this one very closely for precedent. Can you imagine the lawsuits that lawyers will file on behalf of criminals who’ve been taken into custody after committing a crime? Will they all be able to recoup their lost wages?
The illegals were also upset about a few other things as well. Apparently the company would deduct 15-30 minutes of pay from a worker who was at least 1 minute late to work. Sounds like a nasty thing to do, but it’s the fault of the illegals not the company. If you are willing to violate employment laws … you must be prepared to have employment laws violated when it pertains to you. Especially when the laws never legally applied to you anyway.

Funny thing is that more environmental scientist denounce the man-made theories than support it. It’s always been that way, but some of the scientists (mostly out of the environmental field) are changing their minds that man causes global warming. Hell, how can you not with NASA telling you it’s the sun every other day?
U.S. Senate:
Many former believers in catastrophic man-made global warming have recently reversed themselves and are now climate skeptics. The names included below are just a sampling of the prominent scientists who have spoken out recently to oppose former Vice President Al Gore, the United Nations, and the media driven “consensus” on man-made global warming.
The list below is just the tip of the iceberg. A more detailed and comprehensive sampling of scientists who have only recently spoken out against climate hysteria will be forthcoming in a soon to be released U.S. Senate report.
Now is when we will start to see the greenies who support the Senate when they work for climate change to start attacking the Senate as big oil shrills.
Follow the link to read who the scientists are, and their bio’s.

This is one of the worst economic plans I’ve ever seen. They, of course, want to stick it to the rich, but the middle class is not safe in this proposal either. There is also spending increases for Medicare, children’s health care and farm subsidies. This should give you an idea of how much they want to increase your taxes … the largest increase in history.
AP:
Congressional Democrats Wednesday announced agreement on a $2.9 trillion budget blueprint for 2008, promising a budget surplus in five years but only by allowing some of President Bush’s tax cuts to expire.
The Dems also chose to pass up overhauling social programs on the verge of collapse.
Democrats took a pass on overhauling federal retirement programs such as Social Security and Medicare, which are threatened with insolvency in coming decades with the retirement of the Baby Boom generation. They instead hope to address shortfalls in benefit programs after the 2008 election as part of broader talks that would also determine the future of the Bush tax cuts.
Like true politicians … let’s wait until after the 2008 elections to tell people how to fix these things. It is too politically dangerous to announce your plans to fix them in order to get elected. Then after the election they will say the same thing … that they won’t announce a plan to fix the programs until after the following election. The circle of deceit will continue until the programs break.
The worst part of the Dem’s plan is that it makes a bunch of assumptions, predictions, and guesses on what the future will hold. There is no money for any conflict, which is highly irresponsible given the current state of affairs with several countries. They are also guessing the rates, and taxes of many factors to come to their final conclusion.
They expect the taxpayer to accept the largest tax increase in history based on guesses because they’ve promised a surplus in a few years that will ultimately never materialize. They may lie to us about a surplus like they did last time in order to fool us. There never was a surplus under the last administration and Congress … it was a lie. Looks like we are headed there again.
